I bought this to replace the seat on my Craftsman LT2000 garden tractor. Turns out my Craftsman was more of a "low back" seat than this is, but this does provide more back support. Two of the holes line up with holes in the seat bracket, but I had to drill 2 more to match up with other holes in the seat bottom. Also, the original Craftman seat has a center hole that a sliding bracket attaches to that allows the factory seat to adjust back and forward. This new seat does not have that mounting provision, so it will be fixed to wherever you bolt it to the seat bracket. It sits just where the old one did for me (I didn't even know the factory seat adjusted until I got to looking at how to remove it!)My only caution here is that the seat is heavy enough that it seems to just barely disengage the mower stop safety when you get out of the seat. If it were a little heavier or if I had installed it a little farther back then it may not disengage when you get out of the seat. That would be a safety problem.So, it was a little harder to install than I had hoped (I had to drill 2 holes), but still, it's a very nice seat and far cheaper than a factory replacement seat, which last time I checked was well over $150. I also like that this seat has a drain hole so rainwater won't pool in it.Time will tell if it holds up, but I'm satisfied with the purchase and I'd buy it again.
