I decided to try to start it after only 2 hours on the charger and it started right up!I use a couple of these in my garage for my ATV's. They seem to work really well at keeping my batteries charged. They were not very expensive. I cannot really say how long they will last yet.Riding lawnmower battery was drained. Bought this charger and hooked it up overnight and the next day my battery was good as new. Very compact and easy to use. Cord is short so I used an extension cord.likeDid well for 2 years maintaining 2 AGM diesel batteries. Noticed light not on and checked. Was dead. Could have been surge from lightning strike. I like the indicator lights on the plug. Makes it easy to see the state of the battery. On the downside it is not as heavy duty as others on the market so I’m unsure it will last 10 plus years as my old one did. The wiring to permanently attach to the bike battery were much shorter than my old one and made it more difficult to use. I would prefer that the wires had a bit of a heavier casing on them as I’m concerned about durability and it would have been nice to have the wire both be black to blend in better with the motorcycle. I left it to charge overnight but none of the indicator lights came on (other than power); the battery did seem to be improving slightly so I repeated the process a few more times. The fourth time I connected it, the 0-50% charging light came on so that seemed like progress. After charging overnight it indicated fully charged and my battery showed 12.4v again, and it holds a charge now.At first, the low price made me hesitate so I asked a question and received many helpful answers all of which were positive. Having now used the unit on my van battery, operating in all its different modes, I am very pleased with my purchase. You can leave the unit connected and when the battery is fully charged the unit will trickle charge, which can be important if you have an alarm system that very slowly drains a battery especially bad in cold weather.
