If your mounting surface is wood or wood covered with siding, use a drill and 1/8" drill bit to drill a pilot hole at each hole location. Using the screws provided, secure the address plaque to the wall with your screwdriver. If the house siding is too thick or layered over foam board insulation, you may need longer #8 screws (not provided). When attaching your address plaque to brick, block, or stone walls, you will require the appropriate anchors for your mounting surface. For most applications, a standard wall anchor for a #8 screw can be used in conjunction with the included #8 screws. An appropriately sized masonry bit will also be needed to drill the holes for the anchors.
