This vest is thin and pretty looking. It has a zipper on each side to extend the size of it. I love this feature bc if I wear it with a sweatshirt it’s a bit tight when zipped up the front so it’s a cool option to unzip the sides for a better fit.I’m in MI and spring is really still winter weather more often than not. I wore this vest under my winter coat and stayed warm while sitting outside in 35° weather watching lacrosse games. I would definitely recommend this one!Everything about this vest is good quality. It is very well made and constructed. The plates are filled nicely and it does not feel cheap at all. Both sides of the vest have zippers to expand the vest if you have a lot of clothes on underneath. Ordered this in a medium but I usually wear a small. Kind of wish I had ordered it in a small but the medium does fit as you can see in the pictures. Had to zip up the sides and close them for it to fit better. It definitely keeps your core very warm even without the included battery pack heater. Tried the battery once it does warm up nicely. It has gotten colder in the mornings and the vest has helped but not so cold that I need the heater yet. But the heater will definitely come in handy in about a month when temperatures start dipping down even more. Definitely glad I found this vest on Amazon and recommend it because it's good quality.Very well made heated vest!! It doesn't get crazy hot. To compare it.. It gets as hot as a heating pad so it doesn't burn you. It has 3 modes which are high at 90% heating, medium heat thats 70% heating and low thats 30% heating. Its easy to turn on and off, easy change modes with a press of a button on the upper left chest area and easy to install the battery.It comes with a battery pack you plug inside of an extra pocket. Easy to get to if needed beside your hand pocket (Directions state to remove battery pack from vest when not in use. Also comes with charger and charging block to charge battery pack). Its a light weight vest and form fitting. I would suggest getting a size up from your shirt size since it has extension zippers on the sides to make it bigger or smaller around your waist. I got the size of my shirt. Still fits but very snug with the extra extentions unzipped for my waist so it all depends on how you like it to fit.Washing directions state to NOT machine washable so you can NOT put this into your washing machine. It also can NOT be dry cleaned. Directions state to hand wash ONLY in gentle detergents. Do NOT twist material either for it could break the wires inside. Must be hung dry or gentle cycle dryed.Battery don’t last longBought this for my wife. She is an athletic build so a flattering cut is tough to find. She is ALWAYS cold. This did the trick and looks great.Bought this for my daughter who walks to work in the brutal cold of New England. It fit but I would suggest choosing one size up. She says it's a lifesaver and keeps her warm.I love this jacket! I bought it for a cold motorcycle trip. It worked well. I put a real thin layer under it and a warm layer over it with my leathers never got cold. I would suggest buying an extra battery. You must run it on high if there is Highwind.I am super thin at 59 and 125-ish pounds. I ordered an extra small.I was so excited to get this last November 2020. This year I got it out probably the beginning of Nov 2021 & it hasn’t worked right since. It turns on and a few minutes later it goes off. The on/off/temp button switches thru the temp colors randomly and then goes off. I’ve tried a few times and it’s still doing the same thing. I froze at work today.The fabric is light weight but the charging unit is heavy.
